Preparation of the Test Panels
- Clean panels by degreasing only to remove oil, dirt, or contaminants.
- Weigh each panel to the nearest 1.0mg using an analytical balance and record the mass.
Correct Arrangement in the Test Chamber
- Use a minimum of two test panels.
- Place panels at a 15°–30° angle from vertical.
- Position close to the salt fog collection funnels, with spacing at least 100mm from chamber walls.
- Supports must be inert, such as plastic (optional accessory ACC16 available).
