Surface Profile

Surface profile testing provides a detailed picture of deviations such as peaks and valleys together with the heights of these deviations.   These random deviations are common after abrasive surface preparation such as blast cleaning.

It is an important measurement to undertake prior to applying coatings to enable any adjustments to be made ahead of application.

As these measurements are frequently undertaken in the field, handheld instruments are required.  We supply replica tape equipment and depth micrometer measuring gauges to suit different locations, surfaces, and profiles.
