The Conical Mandrel Tester is used to determine the extensibility of paint coatings on metal panels clamped in position and formed round the conical mandrel by rotation of the roller frame. The panels are then examined to evaluate crack resistance and detachment from the metal substrate. This instrument allows easy identification of any coating failure at a specified diameter, over part or entire mandrel length. Supplied in a sturdy protective case with full user instructions.
