ACC14 – Variable Slotted Sample Rack

Variable Slotted Sample Rack  (Ref ACC14) These sample racks comprise of three parallel slotted support rails, which are flexibly connected together in-line. The outer two rails are fixed and the centre rail is adjustable - using a hand operated lever. The inner rail can therefore be moved backwards/forwards with respect to the fixed outer rails. The samples to be tested (usually test panels/coupons) are placed in the slots in the support rails. The action of moving the inner rail with respect to the outer rails, varies the effective width of the slot (and hence allows test samples of different thicknesses - up to 6mm/0.25” - to be accommodated) and can also be used to vary the angle of inclination (up to 20 degrees from vertical – depending on the test sample thickness) These sample racks are available in a variety of lengths to suit different sizes of chamber, and to suit the upper and lower sample rack mounting positions provided in floor standing chambers Note: Only ACC14/5 are supplied with the removable carry handle.
